Over the last week we have seen a lot of public testimony by long term servants of the United States, ambassadors, and Military personnel. During those days a lot was exposed. While it may seem boring to some, and a rehash of what they believed to be true, for many of us, it was important to hear. Much of what the GOP had been claiming was quickly torn away. Holding public hearings meant the GOP could not push only their narrative, and it quickly ended the narrative that this was any form of witch hunt. It took care of their lies about loyalties and partisanship. One of the things that became clear was how many people knew what the president and his staff had been doing, the role of Giuliani, and Sonland. Testimony showed that everyone was aware that Trump was withholding aid to coerce a meeting. As Dr.Hill said, she was on a diplomatic mission, and Sonland was on a personal political mission.
